Richard Merewether of Cheveral Magnus, Co Wilts, Yeoman, sick....to Priscilla Merewther, my Wife all my messuage in Marston in Parish of Potterne, Called Salters including all houses and garden thereto belonging and that little close adjoining the orchard there and pasture called Watercrofte and meadow called Withymeade and pasture called Wytham Lands etc., which are occupied by ??? for 40 years if sheso long live in recompence of her dower. After her death, all my lands of inheritance in Marston, Cheverell Magna and Stoke to Christopher Merewether my Brother and then to his son Christopher and for whant of Heirs to William the second son of Edward third son of my Brother Christopher, failing all then to my brother Jeffery and his male heirs, failing whom to my Brother John Merewether. To my Brothers Christopher and Jeffery, 20 shillings. To my brother William 20 pound. to my brother John 60 pound when he 21. To my sisters Jane Somner and Anne Long, 20shillings. To William Merewther, Edward, Bathsheba and Jane Merewether, children of my Brother Christopher , 5 pound each when 21 or at Marriage.
