From a Memorial on the wall at the East end along side the memorial Window:- In the vault in the middle of the church lie the remains of Henry Merewether Esq for many years a respectable Attorney at Law of thisplace third son of John Mereweather of Chippenham in this County who died September 3 1803 aged 67. Also in the same vault lie the remains of Mary Merewether, She died February 5 1828 aged 76
