I'm the granddaughter of Fanny's sister Sarah Jane Boweter.
I have a lot of information on the Boweter line but have never been able
to
trace the family of Sarah's second husband Eugene Stewart (my
grandfather).
I know this is a long shot, but do you have any Stewart connections in
your
Merryweather line around or after 1900?
Also, do you know why or how Frank Merryweather immigrated to the United
States? Was it to work in the mines or was it through the LDS church?

William Boweter, 41, Leeds Conference, sailed on the Abyssinia, 21 Oct.
1882 and worked for his passage as a ships steward.
Emma Boweter, Leeds Conference, sailed on the Nevada, 29 Aug. 1883 with
children: Fanny 17, Emma 11, Sara 8, and William 4.
