Here lieth the body of Anne, the wife of Henry Merewether, who
died 4th December 1768, aged 29 years.
Elizabeth their daughter died 25th February 1769 aged about 4 months.
Mary daughter of ye said Henry Merewether by his wife Mary, died 8th
January 1777 aged 6 months.
Henry Merewether died 4th Sept 1803 aged 67 years.
Henry Alworth Merewether, son of John and Ann Merewether died 20th
November 1807 aged 9 years.

Family Henry Merewether Esq Who died Sep 3 1803 aged 67 also Mary his
wife Who died Feb 5 1828 aged 76.
From a Memorial on the wall at the East end along side the memorial
Window:- In the vault in the middle of the church lie the remains of
Henry Merewether Esq for many years a respectable Attorney at Law of this
place third son of John Mereweather of Chippenham in this County who died
September 3 1803 aged 67. Also in the same vault lie the remains of Mary
Merewether, She died February 5 1828 aged 76

This Henry is a puzzle, He was Armorial, he was descended from, Janeverat
Alworth and John Merewether cer 1655 by his sons Name, but a link is
missing yet to be found, see also notes on his son Henry Alworth. This
John was attached to Dr John and Janeverat Suspect an error
