The Will of Thomas Merywether of Graingham, Gainsboro in the County of
Lincoln, 1633:--( now spelt Grayingham, Gainsborough)
Upon the 13th July 1633 Thomas Merywether late of Graingham, deceased
did make his last Will and testament nuncupative.
He willed to each of his children, John, Mary, Thomas, Lydia, and
Anthony Merywether, his lawful sons and daughter £30. And he gave
likewise to Ruth Clover 20s. and to his brother John Merywether 10s. and
did make Lydia his wife sole executrix in the presence of Peter Cottam ,
Hardolfe Cottam, and Robert Winprey.
On the 26th July 1633 Letters of Administration of the goods of Thomas
Merywether of Graingham, deceased, were granted to Lidea Merywether of
the same relict and executrix.
Bound with Peter Cottam of Thermacke in £60.
