I'm a descendant of the Merryweather from the Grenada branch, my
Grandma's mother, Margaret Alexander Merryeather was however born in
Sheffield, whereas all her brothers and sisters were born in Grenada.
MAggie's elder brother was the Canon James White Merryweather, his
mother's maiden name being Elizabeth White. Im trying to find the link
between Rev Harry Hill Merryweather of Sheffield area as was Margaret
Merryweather born and Rev E A Merryweather who made reference to Canon
Merryweather. Also one of Margaret Merryweather's brothers George Henry
Merryweather lived in Egbaston, Birmingham (is this any relation) he was
a bit manufacturer, who look Maggie and her 3 children in, following the
early death of her husband William Widdowfield Bannister. I can supply
