William Hawkins\Jane Merewether

William Hawkins, son of William Hawkins and Ann Walton , was born 1678 in pos, Lavington, Wiltshire, England. He married Jane Merewether April 17, 1714 in Rowde, Wiltshire, England. He died 1748. Jane Merewether, daughter of John Merewether and Jane Alworth , was born 1683 in pos, Lavington, Wiltshire, England. She died 1761.

I found Wm HAWKINS in Vital Records Index British Isles. Says his wife
Jane Mrs. MEREWETHER. mar 17 Apr 1714 Rowde, Wiltshire England. Will have
to see if this is correct. Also says he was The grandson of Isaac WALTON

Found a christen date of 27 Apr 1696 Market Lavington Co. Wiltshire with
parents John M and Janevertt
It is said that Jane married Wm HAWKINS who was the son of Hawkins who
was the daughter of Izaak WALTON. I have not been able to prove this
