Most of this information came from J J KALI who has researched this
family for 10 years. In history of Marlborough says he died 30 Mar 1678
at aged 42. Also found Ancestral File Born 1631 Shaftsbury, Wiltshire
England married to Jane GOODENOW
He was a proprietor of Marlborough in 1657 and signed the first order
passed by the town after its incorporation. He received his share in the
first division of lots in 1660, and the year following engaged with
Obadiah WARD and Richar BARNES to erect the first frame house for their
church.
