In 1865 he was in Marion County OR. Nani has an abstract of Assessment
and Census for year 1865. His first wife gave him a son William. She died
on the Oregon Trail giving birth in Salt Lake City Utah and is buried
there.
On the 1870 census is show another child Minnie 3 years old born Oregon.
Do not know but she must have died. young.

mother died.
He is listed in the 1870 census living with PETTEY family and is 15 years
old. Marion County Oregon.
He is at No. 666 father George at 649. So not far from each other.
