John Merewether, son of John Merewether and Jane Alworth , was born 1686 in Chippenham, Wiltshire, England. He married Mary Selby May 13, 1728 in Norton Coleport, Wiltshire, England. He died May 24, 1774. Mary Selby, daughter of Thomas Selby , was born 1706 in pos, Norton Coleport, Wiltshire, England. She died July 12, 1756.

Gloucester England. to Mary PAGE may not connect but MIGHT. Also a John
MEREWETHER who married Margaret WILLIS 24 Sep 1767 Christ, Bristol,
Gloucester, England Also Francis MEREWETHER married Ann NEALE 19 Jan 1784
Eston Royal, Wiltshire England, Abraham married Grace HOBBS 5 Apr 1788
Saint Augustine the less, Bristol, Gloucester England
Found him on IGI saying of Norton, Wiltshire England

That date maybe Baptism. Found in records of Wiltshire Eng. but they do
not state if birth date of Christen date. Only marriage I could find was
Francis MEREWETHER married Ann NEALE 19 Jan 1784 Easton Royal Wiltshire
England. He would be rather old.
