Looking for family of Williamson Browning b 1795 in Union Co., SC. He
married Sarah Alexander b 1800. Both Williamson (William) and Sarah's
ancestors were given royal land grants in 1695 according to info received
in the archives in Bateville, Arkansas, USA. Found John Alexander's land
grant in 1695 but only found a land grant for William Brownnen in 1789
and Charles Browning same year. I think Robert Browning is his father (?)
and William Browning is his grandfather. Have no proof. Robert's will
just lists a William not Williamson, but other papers found list
Williamson by this spelling. Would appreciate any help. One of
Williamson's sons, Anguish Alexander Browning (possibly named after
Anguish Alexander census 1800, 1810, 1820 who may have been his
ggrandfather or uncle (?).
